Glass Straw

Glass straw by South Australian artist Billy Crellin. 

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Billy studied Photomedia at Sydney College of the Arts, graduating with Honours in Glass in 2012. Following this he undertook periods of practical glass training with Erik Meaker in Denmark, and at Glass School Valasske Mezinci in Czech Republic, where he gained experience working within industrial and applied arts hubs. Billy has since refined his practice to be research and object focused. He is interested in dynamic modes of creation within the framework of hot glass. Billy is currently an Associate in the Glass Studio at JamFactory.
