In this three-session course, participants will learn to make a one-of-a-kind silver ring, melting and sculpting wax into a form from which to cast a mould. During the first two sessions, you will be introduced to the tools and skills required to shape wax into your chosen ring design. During the final session, you will receive your pieces cast in silver and complete any necessary finishing (such as filing and polishing) ready to take your completed ring(s) home.
This class is suitable for complete beginners. Wax and moulding materials are supplied as part of the workshop, however outsourced casting and silver costs are charged per item based on weight. Participants can expect to create 1-2 finished pieces.
