The Hill

Regular price $49.95

The Hill by South Australian artist Tom Moore. Presented as part of the JamFactory at Adelaide Railway Station exhibition.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION:

Launching in March 2021 JamFactory presents a series of solo exhibitions presented in partnership with Renewal SA. These exhibitions will be displayed within the historic phone booths found at the northern end of the Adelaide Railway Station concourse.

Our first exhibition will be by renowned glass artist Tom Moore, and will show from 20 March - 30 May 2021.

Any sales from this exhibition will be available to collect (or sent) from JamFactory the week of 12 April 2021.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Tom Moore works in blown glass, an ancient technique, but his images, narratives and settings are completely contemporary. His fantastical world embraces gorgeous birds and animals that have already hybridised with modern automobiles and aeroplanes and is inhabited by exquisite creatures that are morphing to inhabit a universe that seems quite as ominous as it is beautiful.

Tom is based in Adelaide, South Australia. He works closely with JamFactory, using their hot glass facilities as well as working from his own studio at home.

WORK DETAILS:

All works in Countryside are Not For Sale. Listed here to purchase is the Tom Moore: Abundant Wonder monograph, published by JamFactory and Wakefield Press in 2020.
