ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Peter Andersson was born in Broken Hill, NSW. From 1977-80, he trained as a potter at McLaren Vale Pottery with Rod Pedler, at Cherryville Studios with Henri Luijckx, and at JamFactory, before setting up his own studio at Stirling East, SA. He returned to JamFactory as Creative Director of the Ceramics Studio from 1989-90, then moved to Nairne in the Adelaide Hills. His work is characterised by dry glazes on textured surfaces.
