Coming from a family of professional artists (Father: Master printmaker and Mother: Shibori textile artist), Taë completed a BA Visual Arts - glass, at the Australian National University, before expanding her material vocabulary in ceramics, and gold + silversmithing in Melbourne. Her studies in Glass and ceramics took her to Toyama Institute of Glass Art (TIGA) and Kyoto Seika University, both in Japan and in 2008 Taë was awarded the e.g. etal graduate award. I\u003cspan\u003en 2009 she was awarded Artist in Residence at Skopart - The Skopelos Art Foundation, Greece \u003c\/span\u003eand has been exhibiting nationally since 2002.
