ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Jon Goulder is a fourth generation furniture maker. He left his family business to study furniture design and fine woodworking at Canberra School of Art under the direction of the late George Ingham. After leaving Canberra School of Art he established his design consultancy - Jon Goulder Designer Maker. His work has featured in a number of major exhibitions and publications around the world. Jon has won several design prizes including the Bombay Sapphire Design Discovery Award. Jon’s work is held in permanent collections by most State and National Museums and Art Galleries, including the National Gallery of Australia.
Jon’s designs have held market presence for over fifteen years. He currently has over twenty products manufactured under licence. He has several international clients who work with him in different capacities including exhibitions, private commissions, one-off installation design, and design for royalty license based agreements with manufacturers. He was the Creative Director of the Furniture Studio at the JamFactory in Adelaide from 2015 until mid 2018. Jon is a master craftsperson and a skilled designer. He is currently focused on developing his one off and limited edition collections for representation in Australia, America and Europe.
JamFactory studio production focuses on the design of useful, well made products. These objects highlight the craft methods behind their production and the specific characteristics of the materials used. JamFactory products are designed in-house by creative staff or through collaboration with independent designers. Each piece is manufactured or hand finished within one or more of JamFactory’s four Adelaide based studios in ceramics, glass, furniture and metal design.

Care Instructions: Wipe board clean using a damp cloth. Do not submerge board in water. Replenish using organoil. Hand wash dishes in warm soapy water.
