Untitled Vessel (1)
Untitled Vessel (1) by Lucy Hearn
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Lucy Hearn is an artist living and working in the Dandenong Ranges. She studied Fine Art (Gold and Silversmithing) at RMIT and went on to exhibit widely as a contemporary jeweller and silversmith.
Lucy is now working predominantly with textiles, though her work is very much informed by her experience in metalwork. She takes inspiration from the historical beginnings of jewellery and vessels to create soft sculptures, objects and quilts.
She uses traditional techniques such as appliqué, patchwork, embroidery and quilting to construct these artworks.
ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
Quiet Geometry brings together works from seven artists across multiple disciplines that explore the subtle power of line, form, and spatial order. Through measured compositions, this exhibition demonstrates how geometry can be both method and expression. Each work invites close attention, revealing a quiet language of balance, precision, and intentional design.
