Level 1: Introduction to Silver Jewellery | 7 WEEKS
Designed for the complete beginner, this seven-week course introduces students to basic silver jewellery making skills and techniques such as sawing, filing, soldering, forming and roller printing to achieve various textures and finishes. Design and make your own jewellery pieces, beginning with a simple silver ring, with the option of making a brooch, pendants or earrings for subsequent projects under the guidance of skilled tutors in a professional studio environment.
No prior experience required. All necessary tools and materials are supplied including enough silver to create two projects, and copper for practicing different skills and techniques. For more complex or ambitious projects, you may choose to purchase extra silver if desired.
