ABOUT THE ARTIST

During the time Evelyn has been painting for the art centre she has established herself as a fine proponent of the Keringke style. Generally painting in traditional colours and highly intricate patterning, her works are reflections of land and connections of tangible and intangible energies. This work is as delicate and intricate as lace, yet has a depth and complexity that suggests a great talent. Everlyn's work is consistently of a high standard and over the years she has become one of the most sought after ceramic painters. As style and work is light and clean.

From the roar of the crowd to the thrill of a last-minute goal, each artwork captures the movement, emotion, and deep community connection that make footy more than just a sport. Representing a variety of teams, players, and iconic moments, Game On pays tribute to the shared traditions and rivalries that define Australian Rules Football.
