ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Michelle completed a Certificate in Applied and Visual Art at Kingston College of TAFE, followed several years later by a Diploma of Visual Art - Tapestry, at South West Institute of TAFE, Warnambool in Victoria. Michelle is passionate about the ancient technique of hand woven tapestry, and is drawn to its complex and textural nature. She exhibits extensively in Australia and overseas, and has been a finalist and prize winner in many textile related awards.
