Silver Ring Workshop | 1 DAY
In this one-day workshop, learn how to create and take home a sterling silver ring to your own measurements (or create a piece to a specific ring size to gift to a friend) and customise your piece with different texture and surfacing techniques.
Participants will be guided through the process of measuring and calculating ring size, basic silver jewellery techniques including sawing, shaping, forming secure joins through soldering, and learn how to create different surface textures and complete other finishing techniques such as oxidizing, sanding and polishing.
This class is suitable for complete beginners. All required materials are provided including a length of sterling silver wire to create your ring and a copper sheet to develop designs and practice different finishes.
If you are making a ring as a gift, please come prepared with the appropriate ring size required.
