JamFactory Barossa:
Workshops at Seppeltsfield Estate

Under the guidance of Seppeltsfield-based jeweller and mixed-media artist Sue Garrard, learn how to transform reclaimed materials into wearable art to create your own set of earrings in this hands-on introduction to sustainable fashion. Working from pre-cut reclaimed metal, participants will be shown how to use hand tools including hammers, doming tools, stamps and pliers to construct, texture and assemble their own unique pieces with a focus on design and craftsmanship. Suitable for seasoned makers and complete beginners, students will leave the workshop with two sets of earrings of their own bespoke design.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners; all required tools and materials will be supplied, including reclaimed aluminium pieces, jump-rings and sterling silver hooks.
