Steel Bar Stool | 1 DAY
Create your own bespoke stool with a welded steel frame in a coloured powder-coat finish in this intensive single-day workshop. Crafted using light metal fabrication techniques, students will be guided through cutting, rolling, welding, grinding and finishing processes to complete a tubular steel stool.
Suitable for complete beginners, this project-based course utilises a combination of laser-cut and hand-shaped components to introduce students to a range of processes, tools and machinery with a modern approach to metal fabrication.
Upon completion, participants will select a colour for their stool frame from a range of powder-coat options, as well as a pre-made upholstered seat cushion from a variety of vinyl colours for a customised combination of their choice. Finished pieces will be available to collect from JamFactory approximately 3 weeks from the conclusion of the workshop.
Completed stool height: approximately 700mm (counter-height or low bar stool height)
