Individual Glass Blowing Workshop | 2 HOURS

Regular price $475.00

Learn about fundamental glass blowing techniques and try your hand at creating your own blown-glass objects under the guidance of a professional glass artist in JamFactory's hot glass studio.

Perfect for complete beginners, this fast-paced session provides a hands-on introduction to traditional glass blowing skills including gathering, rolling, adding colour, blowing, shaping with hand tools and removing pieces from the blow pipe.

Students can expect to make a small number of glass pieces (approximately 1-2). Final pieces will be annealed and refined via cold-work processes and available for collection 1-2 weeks after the workshop date (students will be contacted once their pieces are ready to collect). Postage can be arranged at an additional cost.

All required tools and materials are supplied and this session is suitable for complete beginners; however please note that the processes covered involve exposure to heat and a basic level of physical ability is required. Please contact JamFactory Reception (contact@jamfactory.com.au) if you have any questions or may be sensitive to heat.

*if making a booking on someone else's behalf, please add their name and contact number in the 'Notes' section at checkout
