Love Underwater 3 by Lisa Lapointe

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Lisa Lapointe is an artist based on the mid-North Coast of New South Wales, Australia. Her practice is renowned for its exploration of colour, texture, and form, creating works that evoke a sense of both the ancient and the contemporary. With a distinctive language that bridges the spiritual and the earthly, Lisa shares her thoughts and emotions through her diverse and vibrant body of work.

A multi-disciplinary artist, Lisa works across mediums including paint, pencil, textiles, timber, and most recently, clay. Her creative process is disciplined and meditative, offering a structured framework that allows for deep introspection and expressive freedom. The balance between control and intuition in her approach is evident in the bold, thoughtful compositions that define her pieces.

Lisa Lapointe holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the College of Fine Arts, UNSW, and her work has found its way into homes and commercial spaces worldwide. Continually evolving and experimenting, her practice remains a celebration of the intersection of materiality, emotion, and timeless design.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

Quiet Geometry brings together works from seven artists across multiple disciplines that explore the subtle power of line, form, and spatial order. Through measured compositions, this exhibition demonstrates how geometry can be both method and expression. Each work invites close attention, revealing a quiet language of balance, precision, and intentional design.
