Individual Glass Blowing Workshop | 4 HOURS
Experience an intensive one-on-one introductory session in the JamFactory's hot glass studio. Under the tutelage of a professional glass artist, participants will be guided through traditional glass blowing skills in gathering, rolling, blowing, shaping with hand tools and removing pieces from the blow pipe.
Final pieces will be annealed and refined via cold-work processes and available for collection 1-2 weeks after the workshop date (students will be contacted once their pieces are ready to collect). Postage can be arranged at an additional cost.
All required tools and materials are supplied and this session is suitable for complete beginners; however please note that the processes covered involve exposure to heat and a basic level of physical ability is required. Please contact JamFactory Reception (contact@jamfactory.com.au) if you have any questions or may be sensitive to heat.
