Organic Silver Wire Earrings with Naomi Bishop | SEPPELTSFIELD
JamFactory Barossa:
Workshops at Seppeltsfield Estate
Design and create your own bespoke pair of silver hook earrings in this beginner-friendly workshop, using simple hand tools to shape and form sterling silver wire into a unique floral or abstract linear design.
In this exploration into organic line-making through wire working techniques, participants will draw inspiration from provided reference images and pieces of nature, translating forms into a linear design and sketching ideas before creating sample pieces in brass wire to test and problem-solve their concepts for aesthetics and wearability.
Once designs have been finalised, participants will create their earrings in sterling silver wire and attach findings to complete their pieces.
This workshop is designed for complete beginners; all tools and materials will be supplied including sterling silver wire, shaping tools and sterling silver hooks for attachment. Students are welcome to bring their own reference images for inspiration.
